GiftCardMall.com officially merged with Giftcards.com in 2025 as part of Blackhawk Network's rebrand. The old domain now redirects, but your existing cards remain fully valid and supported. For activation, balance checks, and support, use giftcards.com directly.
You can check your balance in 3 ways: (1) Visit giftcards.com and log into your account, (2) Call the number on the back of your card (available 24/7), or (3) Check at checkout — most retailers display your remaining balance after a partial payment. See our full balance check guide for screenshots.
A declined card is usually one of four things: insufficient balance, card not yet activated, the merchant requires a billing address (use the ZIP where the card was purchased), or an authorization hold from a gas station or hotel. Check your balance first, then see our full troubleshooting guide.
The funds on your card do not expire, but the physical card itself has an expiration date printed on the front. If your card expires while you still have a balance, contact customer service — they can reissue a new card with the remaining balance transferred. Monthly inactivity fees may apply after 12 months of no use.
Yes. For online purchases, most merchants require a billing address. Use the ZIP code of the address associated with the card. If you haven't registered your card, you may need to do so first — some online merchants verify the billing address against the card issuer's records.
The customer service number for cards previously sold through GiftCardMall is 1-833-800-0550, available 24/7. This is run by Blackhawk Network. For lost or stolen cards, call immediately — they can freeze the card and transfer remaining balance to a new card if the card was registered.
